When Lorne Zalesin and the homebuilding team that would become Bruce Building Company came together in 1994, they wanted to build communities where neighbors know each other and pedestrians are as important as cars. They dreamed of building towns that people through all stages of life would be proud to call home.

For 10 years – as part of the Biltmore Companies – they built quality semi-custom homes, moderately priced condominiums and single-family homes using the highest quality materials and workmanship. Their work from this period is featured at notable communities including Chelsea Park, Cherry Hill Village, Wyndham Pointe and Westwind Lake Village.
