"Thanks to iNest for helping me find my retirement home in North Carolina! iNest was very helpful and every time I needed to call someone, they were always there to help. I was able to view over twenty new home builders in the area and choose which builder I prefer. Then I found a home not on the website, and iNest still helped to finish the deal. I couldn't have made over $2,000 without iNest." -Corey, Charlotte, NC

The historic city of Lancaster, South Carolina serves as the county seat for Lancaster County. History is prevalent in this southern city that is filled with charm. However, the city is also service-oriented and seeks to provide a better future for its residents. Settled as a town in 1750, Lancaster was originally known as the "Garden of the Waxhaws" since it was home to the Waxhaw Native American tribe as well as two other tribes prior to its founding.
Today, Lancaster is known as the Red Rose City. While the past is never forgotten in Lancaster, the citizens enjoy many modern amenities and services. The first settlers to head to Lancaster were the Scotch-Irish and the English. The area was named as Lancaster because the settlers were from the House of Lancaster.
