"Finding your web site has changed our lives. We were so inspired by this cute little neighborhood that we decided to buy our first home. I recommended your web site to my sister in Dallas, TX who is looking to buy. Hopefully, she will find it just as helpful." -Mickey, Chicago, IL

When Westminster was formed in the later 1800s it went through its fair share of names before getting to Westminster. The original name was given based on the first settlers in town, DeSpain Junction, but eventually the town would be renamed to Harris, Harris Park, and finally Westminster. The city was incorporated in 1911 and that is when the town was renamed for the local Westminster University, which was said to be the closest version to Princeton in the West. Today, the city is the perfect picture of a true suburban community, offering a wide array of housing options and a strong workforce.
The city of Westminster prides itself on offering the best schools and living options to the residents of the town. This is likely why there are literally hundreds of recreational activities to enjoy in the area. The city is home to several museums, the Rocky Mountains, unique shops, lovely restaurants, sculpture gardens, and many other options in the city. If you are looking for more excitement, Westminster is located right between Boulder and Denver so either way you go, you are sure to find something of interest to you. This prime location also offers residents a better chance at finding a job if one is needed and gives them a well rounded sense of activities and services to keep them happy and healthy all year long.
